We came, we ate, we polished, we ate some more and we did sleep! (eventually!!) I am officially declaring Troop #2234's first sleep over a wild success. =)
The feedback I'm getting is that everyone had an awesome time and I'm just thrilled. I think the thing I'm just so pleased with is how nice our troop is. Really, I mean it. Heidi and I were talking and agreed that these girls all used manners, there was no drama, they all played nicely together, and for that we are thankful. I think it really says a lot about each of them.
I'm sure you've heard by now they did stay up until 1:30am, next time we'll try to get the security lights off. I think that didn't help any. No matter, we did get some shut eye and no one was expecting a full 8 hours of sleep. =)
I've got all the photos I took on my website and you are welcome to download them. I am going to print the group shot for each girl and give it to her next week when I hand out the patches.
