November Meeting Info

I promised  you another blog post today so here it is.

Please get out your calendars and mark down that our November meeting is going to be held at

Fired Up!  NOT at the church.

We will be painting plates that we'll use for our Dec. caroling and hot cocoa party. 

The troop is going to cover the cost of this event. Normally it would be $22.00 a girl but thanks to our awesome cookie sales we will be able to cover that for everyone. =)

I've got the room reserved from 3-5 because I thought our artists might need some extra time. I'd plan on picking up about 4:45. If your daughter gets done really early I'll have her call you. It's my understanding that we will have our own room and the staff will also give us some info about the kiln and glazing process.

Other tid bits as long as I have your attention.

Please RSVP to me for this event and our sleepover. I know I've talked to several of you but I'd like a solid head count. If you don't RSVP I will assume your daughter can't make it. =(  I will be ordering patches for both of the events. If you could RSVP by Wednesday the 26th that would be great, it should give me enough time to get patches before the sleepover.   THANKS!

A note on snacks this year. Heidi and I talked about it and because our meetings are going to be in the afternoons we don't think we need a snack, we are afraid if we give them a snack it might ruin their dinner. If we've got an event where we think we need food we'll just put out a call for it.

Feel free to show your daughters our new blog, especially once I get some more photos on it. I think they'll enjoy having their own website. =)
